Thomas Arnett is passionate about transforming K–12 education to better meet the needs of students and teachers. His research focuses on identifying avenues for disrupting the impersonal aspects of conventional schooling and on documenting innovations that amplify educator capacity. His research agenda is shaped by his experiences as a trustee and board president for the Morgan Hill Unified School District in Morgan Hill, California, and as a Teach For America teacher in Kansas City Public Schools.
