Laura Petillo, Ed.D., is a teacher, author, and administrator with a passion for early childhood education. In 2020, she received the Excellence in Music Education award, and she won the 2020 Scholarship Exhibition in Proposed Research from Monmouth University. She has over 10 years of experience in preschool and prekindergarten, as well as music education in grades K–12 and school administration. Dr. Petillo’s research interests include literacy, social and emotional learning, music education, and musicology.
