Cathleen Beachboard studies the science of hope and motivation to help people flourish. An educator, author, keynote speaker, and researcher, she became driven to understand resilience after adopting five children who experienced severe abuse and neglect. Her work translates research from psychology and neuroscience into practical strategies that help students and educators build agency, increase motivation, and improve achievement and well-being. Cathleen holds an M.A. in psychology and is currently pursuing a doctorate in positive psychology.
