Cait O’Connor is a secondary English and English as a new language teacher from Long Island, New York. She is a proud product of the public education system from fourth grade through graduate school; an alumna of Hicksville High School, the State University of New York at New Paltz, and the State University of New York College at Old Westbury. In both her graduate and undergraduate studies, professors always kindled her preexisting passion for social justice, equity, and love of service to others.

Cait is a fierce mental health and accessibility advocate and enjoys doing work related to the Disrupt Texts movement and promoting size diversity in the classroom through research.
